Date planning for friends and family

Nine people, nine calendars, one evening that works. Propose the dates and let the grid find it.

Who can when? is a free tool for planning a date with friends or family. One person proposes a few candidate dates and shares a single link. Everyone else opens it and marks yes, maybe or no against each date, and the grid shows which date the most people can make. Nobody needs an account, on either side, and there is no paid tier.

Free, and nobody needs an account.

Everyone wants to come. Nobody is free on the same evening.

It is almost never the willingness that is missing. It is four calendars, two shift rotas, a football practice and somebody's in-laws that have to line up on one date.

A group chat cannot hold that. Someone suggests the 12th, three people answer, two answer in a different thread, and a week later the 12th has gone anyway. A grid can hold it, and a grid is all this is.

How it works

Three steps, and the first two take under a minute.

  • 1. Say what it is for and pick the dates that could work.
  • 2. Share the link - in the group chat, by text, or in an email.
  • 3. Pick the winner. Everyone who left an email address is told, with a calendar invitation attached.

What you get

  • No sign-up, for anyone. Not for you, and not for the cousin who never opens links.
  • Yes, maybe and no, so "I could make it work" is not counted as a firm yes.
  • Answer straight from the email, without opening the site at all.
  • Comments, for the inevitable "the 12th works but only after seven".
  • A calendar invitation goes out by itself once you have picked the date.

Common questions

Is it free?
Yes. There is no paid tier, no trial and no feature held back. Everyone gets the same thing.
Do my friends need an account?
No. They open the link and tap. There is no account on their side and none on yours.
How many people can answer?
Up to 50 people and up to 20 candidate dates per date poll.
What happens to it afterwards?
A date poll is deleted 90 days after the last activity on it. Poll pages are never indexed by search engines, and nobody sees anyone else's email address.

Ready when you are
